Adjunct Faculty

Responsibilities

• Teaches assigned students.
• Supervises students during instruction.
• Assists faculty in evaluating students' progress and competency.
• Maintains confidentiality in accordance with college/program policy.
• Works effectively under daily mental and physical stress, including meeting deadlines, attending meetings, and completing compliance requirements.
• Meets and works with staff, faculty, students, and the public.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution in nursing or related field, or enrollment in a graduate nursing program.
• Minimum of two years of teaching experience in the program discipline or two years of recent clinical experience in the teaching area.
• RN licensure in the state of Iowa.
