About the role

The Digital Media Informatics Program at Widener University seeks highly qualified Adjunct faculty to teach the Introduction to Informatics (DMI 101) course in the Fall 2026 semester.

Responsibilities

• Teach a specified course as assigned
• Prepare course materials
• Provide support and guidance to students

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Informatics, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Digital Media, Digital Communication, Digital Marketing, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Informatics, Business Analytics or closely related majors
• Relevant industry/professional experience

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Informatics, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Digital Media, Digital Communication, Digital Marketing, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Informatics, Business Analytics or closely related majors

Skills

• Ability to teach effectively
• Experience with computer technologies and their impact on media and business
• Knowledge of informatics, data representation, business information systems, digital media technology, and health care data systems
