Adjunct Critical Care Clinical Instructor (Day/Night Shift)

About the role

We are seeking a Nursing Faculty member to mentor and instruct nursing students in both classroom and clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a mentor, role model, and facilitator to support student success.
• Apply teaching skills and engage students through diverse methodologies.
• Contribute to curriculum and course assessment for continuous improvement.
• Maintain scholarly activities and participate in professional growth.
• Leverage innovative technologies and resources, such as Simulation and Innovation Labs.
• Assume full responsibility for clinical student supervision, including clarifying expectations, assessing skills, and providing timely feedback.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing and a valid professional nurse licensure.
• Minimum of two years’ experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care, with at least one year in the field related to teaching responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and online learning management systems.
• Compliance with relevant state, federal, and regulatory standards, including the state Board of Nursing.
