Adjunct, Chemistry
About the role
Widener University’s Department of Chemistry is currently seeking highly qualified adjunct faculty to teach Chemistry courses.
Responsibilities
- Instruct 1 to 3 courses each semester on an “as needed” basis.
- Teach specified courses.
- Prepare course materials.
- Be available to meet with students outside of regularly scheduled class time.
- Provide support and guidance to students.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Chemistry or closely related majors.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have an ABD or PhD in Chemistry or closely related majors.
- Previous teaching experience.
- Willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.
