Adjunct, Chemistry

About the role

Widener University’s Department of Chemistry is currently seeking highly qualified adjunct faculty to teach Chemistry courses.

Responsibilities

• Instruct 1 to 3 courses each semester on an “as needed” basis.
• Teach specified courses.
• Prepare course materials.
• Be available to meet with students outside of regularly scheduled class time.
• Provide support and guidance to students.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Chemistry or closely related majors.
• Preference will be given to candidates who have an ABD or PhD in Chemistry or closely related majors.
• Previous teaching experience.
• Willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.
