About the Role

The Department of Physical and Environmental Sciences (PENS) invites applications for Chemistry Adjunct faculty position(s). The department offers undergraduate degrees in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Geology, Atmospheric Science, and Physics, as well as master’s degrees in Chemistry, Environmental Science, and Coastal and Marine System Science, and a PhD in Coastal and Marine System Science.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate labs, primarily General Chemistry I & II, and possibly Organic Chemistry I & II.
  • Teach lecture courses, dependent on the candidate’s area of expertise.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or PhD degree in chemistry, or at least 18 hours of graduate-level chemistry courses.
