About the role

The Biomedical Engineering Department at Widener University is seeking adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate courses including biomechanics, thermodynamics, cell and tissue engineering, biomaterials, bioinstrumentation, and regulatory and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Instruct 1 to 3 courses per semester on an “as needed” basis
  • Teach specified courses
  • Prepare course materials
  • Be available to meet with students outside of regularly scheduled class time
  • Provide support and guidance to students

Requirements

  • A minimum of a MS Degree in Biomedical Engineering or closely related fields
  • Prior teaching experience preferred
  • Willingness to be flexible in class scheduling

Required qualifications include a minimum of a MS Degree in Biomedical Engineering or closely related fields. Preference will be given to candidates who have previous teaching experience, and willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.
