Adjunct - Biology Lab Instructor (On Campus)
Work Performed
Teach undergraduate courses as assigned in keeping with departmental, university and accreditation standards, policies, and procedures.
Meet with the Division Chair a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the beginning of the course to review syllabus, course materials, etc.
Inform students of their progress by promptly returning assignments, quizzes, and examinations with appropriate feedback.
Submit mid-term and final grades on Jenzabar by designated deadlines.
Utilize the Canvas Learning Management System and other technology as appropriate to deliver and enhance the learning experience.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Biology (Doctorate degree preferred) or equivalent professional experience in a biology-related field
- University level online teaching experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

The Division of Science and Mathematics at Newman University, a mission-driven, Catholic, liberal arts university, invites applicants for an adjunct instructor for the Fall 2026 Semester to teach the following biology labs at the Wichita campus: Two Genetics labs on Thursdays from 10AM-11:50 AM & 2-3:50 PM; and Human Health, Biology, and Environment lab on Tuesday from 8-9:50 AM.
