About the role

The Department of Urban Horticulture and Design at Farmingdale State College is searching for Adjunct Assistant Professors to teach new online-only classes for the Certificate in Cannabis Production and Management, to begin in Fall 2021.

Responsibilities

• Teach new online-only classes for the Certificate in Cannabis Production and Management.
• Possess a broad-based understanding of plant science with a focus on cannabis biology and production systems for hemp.
• Possess extensive previous and current professional experience in the specialized field of cannabis production and management.
• Have knowledge, skills and abilities that include: Commitment to diversity and university initiatives supportive of diversity and inclusion.
• Interest in participating in student-centered service activities.
• Desire to apply expertise in promoting civic engagement with the College's many community partners.

Requirements

• Minimum Required Qualifications: Master's-level degree in horticulture or related field, or Bachelor's-level degree with extensive professional experience in the field of cannabis production and management.
