About the role
The Department of Language and Literature at North Carolina Central University (NCCU) is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach General Education Courses in Arts & Humanities. This position requires a M.A. degree with 18 hours in English, African-American Studies, or a related Humanities discipline.
Responsibilities
- Teach General Education Courses in Arts & Humanities
- Hold 4-8 office hours per week
- Participate in Humanities Faculty Development Sessions
Requirements
- Minimum Education/Experience: M.A. degree with 18 hours in English, African-American Studies, or a related Humanities discipline
- Licenses or Certification: No licenses or certification required
Qualifications
- Computer knowledge and willingness to participate in faculty development
- Use of technological platforms such as Canvas
- Willingness to communicate with students
