Adjunct - Aesthetics

About the role

We are accepting applications for individuals who meet our minimum qualifications and who can provide instruction within the area of Community & Personal Enrichment. The instructor will work under the direct supervision of the Associate Dean/Instructional Manager and will be responsible for delivering instruction in accordance with the mission, goals, policies, and procedures of the District.

Pay will vary by course being taught.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students within the assigned and approved instructional delivery system.
• Maintain an active learning environment that enables students to demonstrate course competencies.
• Create a student‑learning‑centered environment that places learning at the core of educational experiences.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s degree and current State of Wisconsin Aesthetics licensure.
• At least twelve (12) months of occupational experience outside the educational field for academic subject instructors.
• At least twenty‑four (24) months of directly related occupational experience for occupational subject instructors.
• One (1) year of occupational experience must have occurred within the last five (5) years.

Preferred Qualifications

• Laser / IPL experience performing Laser Hair Removal (3+ years) and/or IPL/BBL treatments (3+ years).
• Experience performing Microneedling (2+ years).
• Experience performing Dermaplane and Chemical peels (2+ years).
• Licensed Aesthetics experience (5+ years).
• Previous teaching experience in an accredited Aesthetics program.
• Aesthetics Instructor certificate.

Schedule

Work schedule will include day, night, and Saturday shifts.
