About the role
The Admissions Office (AO) manages the 'Welcome—Collection—Billing' (ACB) process, an essential financial resource for the hospital's sustainability. It reports to the Finance Department. The AO staff includes 11 employees, supervised by an Administrative Assistant.
Responsibilities
- Create admission files
- Manage and bill resident files from EHPAD & USLDR
- Encode various external activities: laboratory, osteodensitometry (liberal activity), CT scan technical fee (liberal activity)
- Monitor and follow up on patient flow dashboards
- Verify patient movements
- Enter acts performed by Medical Management Group (MMG)
- Digitize and issue medical certificates
- Keep birth and death registers
- Tackle GLIM system rejections
- Tackle transport issues
- Tackle NPAI issues
- Assist in managing orders, supplies, and requests to the storeroom
- Handle duplicate administrative files
- Operate the AO telephone line and email inbox
- Manage shared tables with the DIM
Qualifications
- Knowledge of the CPAGE tool (recommended but not required for applying)
- Mastery of common office software: word processing, email, spreadsheet
- Ability to integrate into a team and work with each member of the team within the AO context
- Flexibility in performing general AO tasks
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Customer service skills
- Knowledge of insurance regimes, billing rules, coding nomenclature for medical acts, and hospital billing processes
- Understanding of the healthcare system's user rights and the healthcare system's functioning
Benefits
Grade and Remuneration: Assistant Administrator of the Public Health Service. Salary according to the corresponding grade grid. Education Level Required: BTS SP3S or equivalent.
Rhythm of Work
- Full-time position
- Fixed rest schedule: 28 CA - 11,5 RTT
- Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM, continuous working hours covering patient consultation times
