Young Harris College invites applications for part-time, non-tenure track adjunct instructor positions to begin in January 2027.

About the role

Duties will primarily include teaching American Government courses for Young Harris Dual Enrollment, a program where high school students earn transferable college credits while completing high school graduation requirements. The instructor will teach in-person at the Towns County High School (Hiawassee, Georgia) classroom location.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Political Science or a closely related field
• Strong commitment to teaching in a liberal arts undergraduate curriculum
• Comfort using technology in instruction

Pay

Competitive pay per course, based on reasonable student enrollment.

Sample course syllabi will be provided by YHC faculty. Selected candidates must successfully pass a background check.
