Additional Learning Support Admin Assistant

About the role
This is a teaching and learning support role within The Bedford College Group.
Responsibilities
- Undertake a range of administrative processes to support the management of students with SEND, including but not limited to student support meetings, EHCP processes, and Exam Access Arrangements.
- Provide administrative support for the Additional Support Team at Bedford College.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Cert Ed or equivalent teaching qualification.
- English and maths GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent.
- Child and Workforce Enhanced DBS (current and valid, either under the Agency or on the Update Service; if on the Update Service, evidence of the check must be provided alongside the DBS certificate).
- Complete set of references covering the past 3 years (including last employment worked with children if prior to this).
- Right to Work evidence.
- Proof of address.
- Confirmation of online search.
- Confirmation of health check – placement is Fit to Work.
- Confirmation of overseas check, if relevant (if not, confirmation of N/A).
- Teacher Prohibition check and confirmation clear.
- Employment history from school with all gaps in employment accounted for.

Pay
Up to £20 per hour (fixed rate, inclusive of agency fees, marking, prepping, travel, and/or accommodation).
