Addictions Counselor (A/D PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR, CI) - #26-004630-0001
Main Purpose of Job
The primary purpose of this position is to provide counseling services to individuals struggling with addiction.
Minimum Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or equivalent license
- At least 2 years of experience working with clients in an addiction treatment setting
Desired or Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in addiction treatment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Licenses, Registrations and Certifications
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
Special Requirements
- Pass a background check
- Pass a drug screening
