Contract position located in Philadelphia, PA (onsite).
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Two shift options: 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM or 09:00 AM – 05:00 PM
Pay
$26.00 – $27.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Provide addiction counseling and treatment planning
- Conduct client assessments and document progress
- Handle crisis intervention and de-escalation
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team
- Deliver case management and client-focused care
- Maintain strong communication and ethical standards
Requirements
- Master’s, Bachelor’s, or Associate’s degree in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field
- Certification such as PCACB, CAAC, CADC, or CAADC preferred
- Bachelor’s degree holders: one year of clinical experience in a health or human service agency
- Associate’s degree holders: three years of clinical experience
- Practicum or work experience in a drug and alcohol setting preferred
- Plan for achieving counseling competency if lacking specific chemical-dependency experience
- Required credentials for the role
