Addiction Psychiatrist (Clinical Track)
Job Summary
The Department of Psychiatry is seeking outstanding applicants for a clinical track addiction psychiatry faculty position. The successful candidate's clinical focus will align with areas such as board specialization in general adult and addiction psychiatry, and addiction medicine. Clinical settings may include inpatient and outpatient, including intensive outpatient programs. Responsibilities include providing psychiatric care, teaching medical students, interns, residents, and fellows, and embracing a culture of excellence and innovation.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric care for a variety of addiction psychiatry and medicine patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Teach medical students, interns, residents, and fellows.

Compensation
The compensation for this position is negotiable and includes 12 months of employment. Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of residency in Psychiatry.
- Successful completion of a fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry.
- AWI Medical license by start date of position.
- Board-certified or board eligible in Adult or Child/Adolescent Psychiatry by start date of position.
- Eligible for enrollment as a billing provider and for all necessary hospital privileges, by start date.
Preferred Qualifications
For an appointment at Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor rank on CT Track, candidates will meet criteria established by the department and as outlined in the School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for promotion or appointment to Associate or Professor on the CT Track.
Education
An MD or DO, or equivalent, is required for an appointment at Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor rank.
