Addiction Counselor's- Baltimore
Responsibilities
The overall responsibility of the Addictions Counselor is to provide and assure continuity of services to chemically dependent adults patients and assure continuity of care in appropriate assessment, treatment planning, and referral.
Requirements
- Minimum of Alcohol and Drug Trainee Status or one of the following certification or license with the State of Maryland: Licensed Graduate Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LGADC), Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC), Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW), Certified Associate Counselor-Alcohol and Drug (CAC-AD) or Certified Supervised Counselor-Alcohol and Drug (CSC-AD).
- Technical School / 2 Years College / AA 2-4 years experience
Preferred Requirements
- Preferred area of college/graduate concentration: Appropriate training in a human service field germane to behavioral healthcare.
