About the role

Artheon is seeking a talented ADCI Diver Inspector to join our growing team. As an ADCI Diver, you will work on a variety of bridge inspection projects, including NBIS, minor, and complex bridges for clients such as NJDOT and NJ Turnpike Authority, and other agencies. The position offers a mix of office and field work, from leading a team to perform on-site bridge inspections in various locations within NJ. Responsibilities

  • Plan, perform, and supervise underwater bridge inspections in accordance with NBI Standards and all safety guidelines.
  • Physical ability to perform field work year-round in adverse weather conditions and work around bridges, roads, rail, and tunnels.
  • Utilize Microsoft Word and web-based software to update asset information and generate inspection reports.
  • Utilize MicroStation or CAD software to generate field sketches.

Requirements

  • Certification: Must have ACDE Commercial Diver Certification.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred). Interest in pursuing civil engineering.
  • Experience: Entry level. Strong communication skills. Interest in underwater inspection, bridge inspection, or structural engineering.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office. Experienced with MicroStation or other CAD software.
  • Knowledge: Dive safety planning and regulations. Strong communication and technical writing skills.
  • Position requires a minimum of 40 hours a week with the possibility of overtime (Hourly).

Pay

$33.00 - $45.00 / hour

The base salary range for this role is indicated in the posting. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location. Artheon offers a competitive compensation package including:
