Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide individual therapy, group therapy, case management, crisis intervention that addresses the goals established on the treatment plan.
- Document services provided in the appropriate clinical forms in Procentive and on paper. Documentation will be completed according to NBH policies and procedures and standards established by governing bodies.
- Create comprehensive treatment plans that meet the individual needs of the client. Treatment plans will be completed in accordance with NBH policies and procedures and standards established by governing bodies.
- Complete and document assessments in accordance with NBH policies and procedures and standards established by governing bodies.
- Participate in weekly case staffing meetings and supervision meetings.
- Provide court, Department of Corrections, and other referral sources with progress reports as requested.
- Work cooperatively with outside agencies.
- Discharge duties in accordance with contracts, licensure standards, and NBH policies and procedures.
- Exhibit knowledge of core competencies in relation to working with co-occurring disorders through continuing education and implementing skills into all aspects of treatment.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Required Skills and Experience
- Be in internship/practicum course with an approved educational entity.
- CPR Certification or attain within 30 days.
- Must have 2 years of freedom from chemical use problems.
- Must pass a State of Minnesota Background Check.
- Must possess a current Minnesota Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
- Ability to use Google Drive and other computer skills.
Additional Skills and Experience
- Familiar with Medicated Assisted Treatment (MAT) Model.
- Motivational Interviewing Approach.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
- Familiar with Procentive, Electronic Health Record System.
