ADC Engineer II, AWS DBS ADC Analytics

About the role

AWS is seeking a Systems / DevOps Engineer to own and advance mission critical services in our Amazon Dedicated Clouds (ADC).

Responsibilities

• Help U.S. Intelligence Community and Defense agencies implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solve unique technical problems.
• Work with Amazon's largest and most demanding customers to address specific needs across a full suite of services.
• Dive deep into technical issues and work diligently to improve the customer experience.
• Work together on behalf of our customers to build the future one innovative product, service, and idea at a time.

Requirements

• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Opt into a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which you perform AWS work.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of networking and troubleshooting experience.
• 3+ years of systems administration (Linux or Windows) experience.
• 3+ years of scripting language experience.
• 3+ years of cloud computing experience.
• 3+ years of work supporting procedures and methodologies for production computing environments.
• Experience automating routine tasks.
• Experience debugging, diagnosing, and troubleshooting complex, production software issues.
• Experience with performance and log analysis.
