Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the health, well-being, and happiness of participants
- Encourage respect for personal property, equipment, and facilities
- Set a good example for participants in all areas
- Supervise, assist instructors, and actively participate in all aspects of the participants’ day
- Assist staff with participants’ toileting and feeding needs
- Work as a team with other staff
- Monitor social interactions between participants and the public, assessing for appropriate behavior
Requirements
- Minimum of 16 years of age
- Experience working with special needs recommended
- Ability to interact with all ages and ability levels
- Must have or be able to obtain current CPR/FA Certification approved by the Massachusetts State Health Department
- Must fill out CORI/SORI form
Pay
This position is Grade 1 of the Town’s Part-Time Pay Plan with an hourly range of $16.00 to $16.98 based on qualifications and experience.
