What You’ll Do
- Assists with specific activities, routines and/or games for all participants. Adapt and modify to meet participant needs
- Leads with enthusiasm and positive motivation in program
- Manage all equipment to ensure safety. Maintains a clean and risk-free environment
- Ensures all children are picked up by a parent
- Promotes other YMCA programs by handing out brochures, answering questions, or referral to appropriate person
- Ensures compliance with all YGBW policies and standard operating procedures
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Demonstrate ability to develop and teach skills
- Experience working with children and/or adults with special needs
- Prior knowledge and at least 1 year of experience in program area
- Ability to effectively use technology for programmatic needs
- Obtain and maintain all new hire certifications and trainings within 90 days of hire
