Requirements
- Valid Ohio Certificate/License/Permit in the appropriate area (may apply before certification is complete).
- Proper athletic certification, if hired, including:
- Fundamentals of Coaching
- First Aid for Coaches
- Concussion Training
- CPR Training
- Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training
Certification can be obtained through Coaches' Tool Chest for a $49 fee (renewed yearly).
- Pupil Activity Permit (PAP) from the Ohio Department of Education (3- or 5-year permit; cost varies). More details here.
