Requirements
- Valid Ohio Certificate/License/Permit in the appropriate area
- Proper athletic certification (required if hired; may be submitted with application or obtained later)
- Pupil Activity Permit (PAP) through the Ohio Department of Education (price varies; typically a 3- or 5-year permit)
- Background check through Beavercreek City Schools board office ($47.25 fee; cash, check, or charge)
Certification Options
- Coaches' Tool Chest – $49 fee; certifies in Fundamentals of Coaching, First Aid for Coaches, Concussion Training, CPR Training, and Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training (renewed yearly)
- Create an OH-ID login for initial access to the Pupil Activity Permit (PAP) via the Ohio Department of Education website
