About the role
The Adapted Physical Education (APE) teacher assesses and identifies individual student needs, collaborates or consults with other service providers, and provides direct Adapted Physical Education service. The APE teacher facilitates the development of gross motor skills and general physical fitness for qualified students with disabilities (SWDs).
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Valid Georgia Teacher Certificate
- Preferred Certification in Health/Physical Education
