About the Role
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- One year of recent bedside RN experience for Med Surg
- Minimum of two years of recent bedside RN experience for all other specialties
Qualifications
- Required Certifications:
- Med Surg and Women's and Children's (WC): BLS
- Critical Care (CC): BLS, ACLS
- ED: BLS, ACLS, & PALS
- Preferred:
- BSN
- Epic experience
Schedule
Flexible PRN/Per Diem/Float position. Ability to pick up day or night shifts based on preference. No weekend, holiday, or shift requirements. Participation requires scheduling a minimum number of hours, availability on short notice, flexibility, and potential for last-minute shift cancellation. No guaranteed shift hours and may be first for cancellation.
Pay
$40/hour + Variable Shift Incentive as a W-2 employee.
