Acute Neurovascular Telemetry Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care to patients with acute stroke and complex neurovascular conditions on a monitored telemetry unit.
• Perform continuous cardiac and neuro assessments, interpret telemetry rhythms, and respond promptly to neurologic changes.
• Administer medications and infusions, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams including neurologists and hospitalists.
• Educate patients and families on neurovascular conditions and care protocols.
• Follow evidence-based stroke and neuro protocols while utilizing technology and data-driven tools.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN license with relevant neurovascular and telemetry experience.
• Strong assessment, interpretation, and rapid response skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
• Comfort with technology, data tools, and evidence-based protocols.
• Patient-centered approach in a nurse-centric, mission-driven environment.
