Acute Medicine Clinical Nurse - (Part-Time) Days

About the Role

Provides direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and ensures safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Develops individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, including cultural and personal preferences.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients and families on post-treatment care and medication administration.
• Participates in professional development and promotes a safe, healing environment.
• Ensures effective communication of care plans across teams and continuum of care.
• Works in a safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safety awareness.

Requirements

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• No prior experience needed; less than 2 years of experience preferred.
• Must hold an active RN license.

Schedule

12-hour shifts, including weekend and holiday rotations.
