About the Role
This position provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. The role promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and participates in safety, quality, and professional development activities.
Responsibilities
- Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
- Ensures effective communication of care plans across the continuum.
- Supports safety initiatives and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Educational requirement: Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Licensure: Valid RN license.
- Experience: No experience required; less than 2 years preferred for higher education.
