About the role
Provides direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring adherence to nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care in a healing environment.
Responsibilities
- Educates patients and families on managing illnesses, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Participates in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
- Ensures effective communication across care teams and advocates for patient safety and quality care.
Qualifications
- Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.
- Licensure: Valid RN license.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and less than 2 years of experience.
- Safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe work practices.
Schedule
12-hour shifts with rotations including weekends and holidays.
