About the Role
Provides direct patient care in an acute care setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within established standards. Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and document individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication across the continuum of care. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers to involvement. Maintains safety and quality standards, actively participating in professional development and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Active RN license required
- Nursing diploma or associate’s degree; bachelor’s degree preferred
- No prior experience necessary; less than 2 years preferred for higher education opportunities
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient education skills
- Ability to work safely, maintain alertness, and adhere to standards of care
