What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Process new referrals by verifying patient eligibility and coordinating benefits
• Document coverage details including coinsurance, copays, and deductibles
• Calculate estimated patient financial responsibility based on verification and contracts
• Secure prior authorizations and follow up on payer requests
• Communicate effectively with patients, referral sources, and internal teams regarding referral statuses

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in home infusion specialty pharmacy and/or medical intake/reimbursement
• Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement guidelines
• Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of HIPAA regulations

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with Acute Infusion for prior authorization and benefits verification
• Familiarity with CPR+ software
