Acute Care Resource Pool Nurse

Role Overview

This position is for a Registered Nurse in an Acute Care Float Pool, providing high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple Medical and Surgical floors.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions during admission and shifts, reporting changes promptly.
• Perform procedures, monitor responses, administer medications, and document care accurately.
• Respond swiftly to patient requests, anticipate needs, and resolve issues.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatments, medications, and follow-up care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Two years of RN experience.
• Bachelor’s, RN diploma, or Associate degree.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire.
• Compassionate, collaborative, attentive to patient needs, and capable of working in a dynamic, multi-floor environment.
