This nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts; candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and able to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours. Join our close‑knit team of 20 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers at Adena Regional in Chillicothe, working alongside nocturnists and with full subspecialty support. Chillicothe offers suburban comfort, natural beauty, trails, scenic parks, family‑friendly neighborhoods, local events, and easy access to Columbus.
Responsibilities
- Admissions
- Cross Coverage Calls
- Works independently alongside nocturnist physicians
- No procedures are required in this role
- Utilize EPIC as the electronic records system (EMR)
Qualifications
- Board‑certified/eligible physician assistant
- Prior hospitalist experience with at least 1 year of inpatient experience
- Authorized to work in the United States
Pay
Highly competitive salary with a night differential.
Schedule
Day shift is from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Night shift is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts.
