Acupuncturist (FT/PT)

Responsibilities

• Provide acupuncture services to Holistic Health clients as scheduled by the Wellness staff
• Assist clients in understanding the services offered at Holistic Health
• Consult the client about their medical history and the reason for their visit
• Give advice on lifestyle habits such as sleep, exercise, and diet to improve client’s physical health
• Create a plan of care that focuses on the client’s overall health and wellbeing
• Help with payments for Holistic Health products and services
• Clean and organize treatment rooms between clients; includes sterilizing equipment and replenishing supplies
• Comply with HIPAA privacy requirements and processes
• Cook with the Holistic Health Manager to ensure all tasks are being completed

Qualifications

• Licensed by the state of Iowa in Acupuncture
• A flexible, creative, entrepreneurial spirit and a demonstrated passion for the mission, vision and values of LifeSkills Connection Inc.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to understand personnel and compliance records management; able to maintain confidentiality
• Able to employ flexibility and creativity in the face of ambiguity and challenge
