Actuarial Analyst I
The Actuarial Analyst I is responsible for assisting in the determination of rates, analyzing, developing, and validating statistical data, and supporting the Medicaid Pricing lead in developing rate impacts and projections.

Responsibilities
- Applies appropriate actuarial analytical tools to data and performs preliminary actuarial and statistical analysis
- Updates actuarial pricing, valuation, and forecasting models as directed
- Refines and collects appropriate data for actuarial analysis and ensures its reasonableness and accuracy through coordination within the division
Requirements
- BA/BS degree and passed a minimum of one Society of Actuaries (SOA) or Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) actuarial exam; or any combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background
Qualifications
- Minimum of one Society of Actuaries (SOA) or Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) actuarial exam

Pay
The salary* range for this specific position is $66,240 to $114,264. Locations: California, Virginia
Schedule
This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.
