ACTT Team Therapist

About the Role

Children's Hope Alliance is expanding our Child ACTT (Assertive Community Treatment Team) to deliver trauma-informed, whole-person care that strengthens children, families, and communities. This is a community-based role providing services in homes, schools, and community settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy
  • Complete clinical assessments, treatment plans, and crisis plans
  • Participate in daily/weekly team staffing and case reviews
  • Deliver crisis intervention and stabilization services
  • Coordinate care with families, providers, and community partners
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EHR
  • Participate in shared 24/7 on-call rotation

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, MFT, or related human service field
  • Active NC license or associate-level license: LCSW | LCSW-A | LCMHC | LCMHC-A | LMFT | LMFT-A | LCAS | LCAS-A
  • 1+ year of behavioral health experience (children/adolescents preferred)
  • Valid NC driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Must pass background, drug, and driving checks
  • Must meet documentation and compliance standards
  • Knowledge and ability to practically implement mental health regulations and clinical services
  • Effective communication, decision making, analytical, interpersonal, leadership, and professionalism skills
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Must submit insurance and registration documentation if utilizing personal car for work-related transports

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with severe emotional/behavioral disorders
  • Experience in community-based or intensive service models (ACTT, IIH, MST, TFC, etc.)

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, talk, and hear
  • Frequently required to reach with hands or arms, stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Essential physical functions: public speaking, reading, typing, writing, using the telephone, driving
  • Duties may be performed indoors, outdoors, or in varying home environments
