About the project

This music video is focused around a single day inside a relaxed, French-inspired city café full of character. From quiet sunrise to after-hours intimacy, the café becomes a liminal stage where emotion and memory drift in and out as the band performs throughout.

Roles

• Lead Woman (age 27–35, expressive, ethereal)
  Women with dance and movement backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply. The character will be seen running through the street and moving fluidly through the café.
• Dominoes Guy (male, ages 55–85, great character face)
  Actors comfortable with movement or with a dance background are strongly encouraged. The character sits alone at a table playing dominoes with himself, obsessively checking the wall clock while waiting for someone or something that never arrives. He shares a slow, simple, beautiful dance in the café.
• Waitress (female, age 27–35)
  Women with dance and movement backgrounds are strongly encouraged. The character stands behind the counter pouring coffee; her mind is clearly elsewhere, causing the coffee to overflow the cup, then the counter, continuing without end. She shares a simple, beautiful dance with a man in the café.
