ActivKids: Before and After School Assistant

About the role

ActivKids is hiring for a Before & After School Assistant position starting at $15.00/hour for 16-17 year olds and $16.00/hour for those 18+. Benefits include complimentary fitness center and water park memberships, two mini golf passes, recognition awards, and social activities.

Responsibilities

• Interact with children
• Encourage social growth
• Lead children in craft projects
• Organize indoor and outdoor games
• Set up and clean up activities

Qualifications

• Experience working with children preferred
• Patience, caring, and enthusiasm are required
• Ability to interact well with parents and children
• CPR Certification is beneficial
• Staff 18+ must complete a driver's abstract and receive training to drive park district vehicles
• Must pass a background check

Job Requirements

• Part-time position with a maximum of 1,000 hours per calendar year
• Work Monday - Friday from 6:15am - 8:45am and/or 3:30pm - 6:30pm
