About the role
Work in a fun, high quality child care center before and after school. Go home each day feeling rewarded without evenings or weekends.
Responsibilities
- Maintains a safe, comforting and stimulating environment
- Facilitates and maintains childcare licensing & accreditation standards
- Document learning experience through displays, observations and assessments
- Engages in activities with school age children
- Maintains positive informal and formal communication with families on a daily basis
- Plans games and other activities
- Maintains a flexible schedule
- Must be flexible, motivated, love children and eager to learn
- Must enjoy being outside
Requirements
- Able to work mornings and afternoons
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Energetic, nurturing, positive, child-friendly personality
- Show initiative; strong work ethic
Qualifications
- 45 hour course in Curriculum/ 45 hour course in Child Development/ 45 hour School Age course preferred but not necessary
