Activity Staff (Double Weekend)

Responsibilities

• Aids in the development and execution of activity/recreational programs to enhance the lives of residents.
• Incentivizes resident participation in various activities such as arts/crafts, outings, religious events, educational sessions, community service, and more.
• Collects and submits supply lists to the Activity/Recreation Director and reports on activity expenditures.
• Maintains a precautions/limitations list for each resident and assists in managing the volunteer program.
• Creates and updates a monthly calendar of available activities and displays it within the center.

Qualifications

• Ability to engage residents in normal life enhancement pursuits and maintain their functioning levels.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and company policies related to activity documentation and expenditures.
• Experience in organizing and supervising volunteer programs.
• Basic understanding of resident council dynamics and community engagement.
• Ability to attend and participate in scheduled training and educational classes.
• Compliance with work schedules and adherence to center policies.
• Capacity to foster a warm, supportive, and calm environment.
