About the role

We are currently seeking Activity Aides to join our team. Located in the picturesque Northbrook community, The Grove of Northbrook offers a supportive and nurturing environment where healthcare professionals can thrive. The facility is known for its excellent schools, serene parks, and family-friendly atmosphere, making it an ideal place to work and live.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the emotional and social wellbeing of residents through companionship and participation in activities.
• Encourage residents to engage in various activities such as movies, parties, games, crafts, and outings.
• Ensure residents' emotional and social needs are met with knowledge, skills, and attention to detail.

Requirements

• A minimum of a tenth (10th) grade education.
• Prior Activity Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable but not required.
