Downs Care and Rehab of Downs, KS is looking to hire a full-time Certified Activities Director to join our dynamic and caring clinical team.
About the role
The Activity Director leads the community's activity program, including developing programming tailored to a variety of individual abilities and interests, and supervising other activity staff. We seek someone creative and strategic in developing and implementing goals, adaptable to change, energetic, and able to positively influence others in a supportive manner. Strong customer service, written and verbal communication, organizational, and computer skills, along with a teamwork attitude, are essential.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement activity programs geared toward diverse abilities and interests
- Supervise other members of the activity staff
- Create and execute strategic goals for the activity program
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations
Requirements
- Current Activities Director Certification
- Current CNA license
- Prior experience (preferred)
- Experience developing and implementing Activities Programs in a Skilled Nursing Facility
- Desire to work with the elderly
Pay
$18 to $20 per hour.
