About the role
Colby Health and Rehab of Colby, KS is seeking a full‑time Certified Activities Director to join a dynamic and caring clinical team.
Responsibilities
The Activity Director is responsible for leading the community's activity program, including developing programming for a variety of individual abilities and interests and supervising other activity staff. The ideal candidate is creative and strategic in developing and implementing goals, able to adapt quickly to change, energetic and able to positively influence others in a supportive manner, customer‑service oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills, and possesses strong organizational and computer skills plus a teamwork attitude.
Qualifications
- Current Activities Director Certification
- Prior experience a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPPA regulations
- Desire to work with the elderly
- Experience developing and implementing Activities Program in a Skilled Nursing Facility
