Responsibilities
- Directs the planning and implementation of resort activities and events.
- Schedules events for all groups within the resort, as well as private events at the resort facilities.
- Covers all preparations for events, including arranging food and beverages, soliciting and scheduling volunteers, booking entertainers, collecting ticket sale money, and other duties as required.
- Arranges for sponsors to fund events.
- Reviews requests and selects vendors to conduct informational seminars.
- Maintains open communications with resort management, guests, and vendors.
- Represents the resort in a professional manner at all times.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in events or activities planning.
- Meticulous attention to details.
- Excellent communications and organizational skills.
- Strong skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, with knowledge of Microsoft Publisher preferred.
