Responsibilities
- Aid in planning, scheduling, and executing programs to enhance residents' well-being.
- Engage residents in activities and plan and facilitate daily programs, special events, and holiday celebrations.
- Coordinate all aspects of events, from setup to breakdown, and maintain an activities calendar and community newsletter.
- Manage activity spaces and supplies, including inventory control, and coordinate with other departments for programming needs.
- Meet with new residents to introduce programs and foster engagement.
- Support volunteer involvement and assist with organizing community events.
- Provide safe, timely transportation for residents to activities and appointments.
- Assist residents in and out of vehicles, including mobility support, and secure wheelchairs.
- Maintain vehicles by cleaning, fueling, performing basic inspections, and documenting their condition.
- Ensure compliance with vehicle regulations and support documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in activities, hospitality, or senior living (preferred).
- Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- CDL may be required based on community needs.
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for working with seniors and creating meaningful experiences.
