Activities Associate Flex/PRN

About the role

Join our team as an Activities Associate (Intermissions Associate) at Erickson Senior Living's Charlestown location. This role involves bringing compassion to residents and family members dealing with dementia through intermission programming.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead social activity-based programming for Intermission participants
• Adopt a person-centered approach and support the needs of each individual resident
• Design and implement creative programming
• Absorb and lead activities, transporting residents to and from programs
• Engage in mealtime preparations
• Complete daily attendance records
• Attend in-services and other training to enhance job knowledge and skills

Requirements

• Patience, flexibility, and a sincere interest in working with residents affected by dementia
• Programming/activity experience is preferred
• Flexibility in work schedule to include evenings/weekends

Commensurate with experience, range $15.00-$19.00 per hour
