About the role

Riverwalk Post Acute is seeking an energetic and compassionate Activities Assistant to enhance the quality of life for our residents through engaging activities.

Responsibilities

• Aid in planning and implementing daily, weekly, and monthly activity programs
• Encourage resident participation and adapt activities to meet individual needs
• Support the setup and decoration of events and special celebrations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote a vibrant community atmosphere
• Bring creativity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to all activities

Qualifications

• Energetic, outgoing, and creative
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable working with seniors and individuals with varying needs
• Organized and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively
• Previous experience in activities or recreation is preferred, but not required
