- Long Term Care Experience Preferred
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred.
- Ability to lead group programs.
- Ability to work independently or part of a group.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public.
- Experience with a long term care population/setting
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in activities like games, crafts, exercise sessions, and other group programs.
- Provide one-on-one activities or modifications as needed based on individual resident assessments and care plans.
- Aid in activity planning and scheduling.
- Communicate with residents, families, and staff about activities and programs.
