What You’ll Do

• Lead engaging group programs that are meaningful, age-appropriate, and fun
• Encourage residents to join in and help them get to and from activities
• Bring creative program ideas to life by coordinating supplies with your manager
• Document resident participation in our electronic record system
• Support residents during mealtimes and help create opportunities for connection
• Keep activity and storage areas clean, organized, and ready for the next great idea
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
• Follow safety procedures and use equipment appropriately
• Protect resident and organizational confidentiality

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior long-term care, dementia care, caregiving, or resident-care experience preferred, but not required
• A willingness to learn new ideas, methods, and technologies
• A collaborative spirit and alignment with our organizational values
• The ability to build trust and rapport quickly
• Creativity, flexibility, and a genuine desire to brighten someone’s day
